Join the movement that celebrates authentic and conscious cuisine!
With the Buono è Sano contest, we want to reward those who, with their recipes, demonstrate that healthy food also means taste, creativity, and the joy of sharing.
Why participate
It enhances the territoriality and quality of raw materials.
Give voice to small, ethical companies that produce with love and respect for the land.
Support those who, like Salvia Mater Viva and the "Origini" companies, distribute unique and authentic products.
You embrace the concept of food as healing, a gesture of love towards yourself, others, and the environment.
The collaboration
The contest was born from the Ippocrate Foundation's Food Project, in synergy with Salvia Mater Viva (main sponsor) and the producers of the Origini network, to spread a style of eating capable of preventing, curing and giving well-being... without giving up the pleasure of good food.

The Buono è Sano competition jury brings together top professionals: from researcher and president Monia Caramma, to visionary chefs like Pietro Leemann and Claudio Di Dio, and the inspiring voices of Michela Villani and Nina Gigante. A team that combines science, ethics, and creativity to reward healthy and authentic cuisine.
How to participate?

Fill out the form
By clicking the sign up button, you'll land on the Ippocrate Foundation page where you'll be asked to fill out a form . Once you've completed the form, you'll automatically receive an email with the Salvia discount code.

Producers Origins
Once you have completed the second step, you are entitled to use the free service
for your recipe of a sampling for 2 portions of products from the Origini companies that have joined the Competition (shipping costs excluded, while stocks last)
To receive a list of Origini producers and products, write to info@fondazioneippocrate.org. Follow all publications on the Fondazione Ippocrate Instagram channel to stay up to date.

Buy at least one Salvia product
Use the discount code (-15%) Salvia to purchase at least one product that you can use for your recipe or for personal use. This is a mandatory step to enter the contest.

Post on Instagram
The last step is to post 3-4 photos on your personal Instagram profile :
1. photo of the plated recipe
2. photos of products used
3. photo preparation
4. Photo of the chef/participant (optional but recommended)
The publication must include:
complete recipe
list of products used (Salvia-Materviva, Origini producers, or local “organic” or “beyond organic” producers known to the participant)

Food and Producers Origins Project
The Alimentazione di Origini project is a network of ethical companies carefully selected by an extraordinary group of volunteers: ordinary people, trained by experts, who visit producers, establish direct relationships, and verify quality day after day. They are the beating heart of the project.
To strengthen this bond, Open Days have been organized throughout Italy, bringing together companies, volunteers, and doctors from the Ippocrate network. During these days, healthcare professionals engaged directly with farmers, because we believe that the medicine of the future cannot exist without agriculture and healthy food.
In the Buono è Sano Competition, Origini producers take center stage: they provide authentic ingredients that, combined with the creativity of the participants, transform each recipe into an experience of health, flavor, and awareness.
